Aufgrund von terminlichen Schwierigkeiten können FINNTROLL ihre Show am HEIDENFEST im Waedse Tempel, Heerhugowaard am 07.11. leider nicht wahrnehmen. Für alle holländischen FINNTROLL Fans gibts aber die Möglichkeit Ihre Heroen am 20.09. im Amsterdamer Melkweg auf einer Special-DVD-Show zu bestaunen.

16.07.2008 - Amon Amarth - reveal tracklist of ‘Twilight Of The Thunder God’!

Swedish Viking Kings AMON AMARTH will release their new album ‘Twilight Of The Thunder God’ on the 17th of September in Sweden, the 19th of September in D/A/CH/I and the 22nd of September in the rest of Europe.

The album features several high-profile guest appearances. Entombed singer L.G. Petrov sings a duet with AMON AMARTH singer Johan Hegg on ‘Guardians Of Asgaard’ while Children Of Bodom guitarist Roope Latvala shreds a fierce solo on the title track. As if that wasn't enough, Apocalyptica do the honours on ‘Live For The Kill’, giving this tune the icing on the cake!

‘Twilight Of The Thunder God’ will be released as a limited first edition 3-disc-set including a bonus CD and a bonus DVD. This deluxe collector's edition comes in highly valuable packaging featuring special layout and the AMON AMARTH comic which is currently being published in several metal magazines all over Europe. The comic can also be viewed online at THIS location. The album will also be released as a limited edition gatefold 2-LP on 180g etched vinyl!

AMON AMARTH wurden soeben für die UNHOLY ALLIANCE TOUR CHAPTER III bestätigt!

Nicht, dass das bisherige Line-Up bestehend aus Slayer, Trivium und Mastodon schon beeindruckend genug gewesen wäre, macht die Hinzunahme von AMON AMARTH UAIII zur "härtesten und dunkelsten Tour des Jahres"!

AMON AMARTH werden in Deutschland und Schweden nach Mastodon und vor Trivium und Slayer auftreten. In allen anderen Ländern werden AMON AMARTH vor Mastodon auf die Bühne gehen.

01.07.2008 - Nevermore - wollen auf "The Year Of The Voyager" DVD/Live Album all ihren Fans weltweit danken!

Im Juli 2005 veröffentlichten NEVERMORE ihr letztes Studioalbum „This Godless Endeavor“, welches als das erfolgreichste Werk in die bisher sechs Alben umfassende 16-jährige Bandgeschichte einging. Die Tourkampagne zu This Godless Endeavor begann am 21. Juli 2005 mit der Gigantour durch die USA im Vorprogramm von Megadeth und Dream Theater und danach folgten knapp 200 Shows in 23 verschiedenen Ländern. Nachdem die Band durch ganz Europa, Japan, Brasilien, die USA und Australien getourt ist, spielen NEVERMORE am 14. August 2008 sogar erstmals in Tel Aviv (Israel) beim Anthem Metal Festival mit ihren Labelkollegen Dark Tranquillity und The Haunted.

Im Oktober 2008 erscheint dann endlich die sehnsüchtig erwartete erste Live DVD bzw. das erste Live Album von NEVERMORE – „The Year Of The Voyager“!

„The Year Of The Voyager“ umfasst die Touren zu This Godless Endeavor, bietet fantastische Liveaufnahmen von der 2005er Gigantour, dem polnischen Metal Mania Festival in Polen 2006, vom Wacken Festival im selben Jahr sowie als Hauptteil eine grandiose Show in der Zeche Bochum am 11. Oktober 2006.

Das Bonusmaterial beinhaltet zwei Songs von der Century Media USA Jubiläumsfeier zum 10-jährigen Bestehen aus dem Jahre 2001, alle Promovideos sowie ein ausführliches Interview mit Sänger Warrel Dane, welches in den Roax Film Studios in Berlin im Frühjahr 2008 aufgenommen wurde.

Um sich bei all ihren Fans zu bedanken, die maßgeblich am riesigen Erfolg von „This Godless Endeavor“ beteiligt waren, bitten euch NEVERMORE ihnen Fotos von euch mit der Band bei Signing Sessions oder „Meet & Greets“ im Rahmen dieser Tourkampagne zu zuschicken. 12.06.2008 - Paradise Lost - bestätigt für Show zum 20-jährigen Jubiläum in Krefeld!

Die Väter des Gothic Metal haben nun auch eine exklusive Show zu ihrem zwanzigjährigen Jubiläum für ihre deutschen Fans bestätigt, um auch ihnen auf diese Weise für zwei Dekaden Unterstützung zu danken. Am 17. September spielen PARADISE LOST und als exklusive Gäste ANATHEMA in der Kulturfabrik in Krefeld.

27.05.2008 - Axel Rudi Pell - Pulls Out Of WACKEN OPEN AIR, ROCK OF AGES

"Unfortunately, we have to cancel our appearances at both summer festivals, the Rock Of Ages and the Wacken Open Air, due to a schedule conflict of singer Johnny Gioeli in the USA. We have to apologize for that! So there will be no shows for the band this year, but we can tell you, that the band today already has been booked for next year´s WACKEN OPEN AIR, the 20th anniversary of "THE" Metal Festival in 2009!

The recordings of the new CD are going very well and all the basic tracks have been recorded at the Redhouse studios in Germany with our longtime engineer and friend Charlie Bauerfeind. We are very excited about this record as it features some modern vibes. This will be a massive step forward for the band and the fans won't be disappointed! Recently Johnny is laying down the vocals in Los Angeles and the mix will be done by Charlie during July. The album will be released by SPV on October 24th in Germany and October 27th in Europe. We'll let you know about the title and the songs here very soon!

The next tour will definitely take place around January/February next year. Stay tuned for the dates in a few weeks here!"

24.05.2008 - Finntroll - Die DVD kommt

Soeben haben FINNTROLL bekannt gegeben, dass sie an dem release ihrer ersten DVD arbeiten. Zudem feiert die Band ihr 10 jähriges Jubiläum.
Diese DVD wird am 20. September im Melkweg in Amsterdam aufgenommen. Sie werden eine 100 Minütige Show mit Songs ihrer letzten 5 Alben, die in den letzten 10 Jahren entstanden sind, spielen. Der Ticket-Preis beträgt 15 Euro.
Aber diese DVD wird mehr enthalten als das Konzert im Melkweg: Interviews, "Behind the scenes", Video-Clips, Festival-Show und einiges seltenes Material wird man auf dieser DVD finden, welche im Jahr 2009 von Spinefarm records veröffentlicht wird.
